Great article, Jennifer! I appreciate the susinct explanation to what is a pretty complex and complicated topic. I've been thinking a lot about NFTs and sub-categories of products and services that may appear if this continues to become mainstream. E.g. Will new companies begin to come about that create display solutions for digital art in the home? Will legal issues arise if people "own" a moment that is then repurposed online, or will people need to pay a licensing fee to borrow the clip for news articles or youtube videos? In other words, do owners of the 10-second NFT make a cut if the clip is featured in longer-form videos online? Will be interesting to see how this all unfolds...
